San Francisco

City by the Bay // Lyrics by Journey
When the lights go down in the city
And the sun shines on the bay
I want to be there in my city
Ooh, ooh
 .
So you think you’re lonely
Well my friend I’m lonely too
I want to get back to my city by the bay
Ooh, ooh
.
Did a quick weekend get away to San Francisco and got to eat at two different Tasty Pot restaurants, see Fisherman’s Warf and the de Young Museum.  Here are some of my favorite pics.
.
Driving up, we noticed that San Jose had a Tasty Pot like the one we had down in San Diego.  Out of curiosity we stopped by for a quick meal. Tasty Pot 1143 Story Rd, Ste 100, San Jose, CA 95122

Dinner was at Bella Trattoria 3854 Geary Blvd, San Francisco, CA 94118
After a long day sight seeing, it was great to get a bottle of wine and some food.  We ordered the Burrata and Calamari Mista Appetizer and shared a Pappardelle ragu.  All the food was amazing and executed well.  I would love to come back again and try their Gnocchi next time.

Art’s Cafe  47 Irving St, San Francisco, CA 94122 is run by a nice Korean couple just outside the Golden Gate Park which seats about 12 people stretched on a long counter top.  You can get a bulgogi meat with your breakfast if you want.

De Young Museum inside the Golden Gate Park was having a special exhibit about the Mexican city of “Teotihuacan: City of Water, City of Fire”.  We opted for the audio tour and got to see and hear a lot more of the history of this ancient city.

We pulled over for gas in Pleasanton and noticed there was another Tasty Pot there.  We had to stop by and try the food.  It was great and we were ready to hit the road again home and bask in a quick 36 hours in the City by the Bay.
